Shining on downtown Reno

Here’s the very first photo of our latest project, an installation for the new Nevada Discovery Museum being built in the old City Hall in down town Reno, as seen from the adjacent Federal Building. This will be the premier science educational facility for kids in Northern Nevada, and we’re really happy to help be a part of it.

More than a year in development–in part because the project was being built on an old building, with very special requirements for loading, etc–we’re happy to have been able to help install this array and start saving them more than $6,600 annually on their energy bills.
Appropriately, the last panel was put in place and connected by nine year old Shelby Bietz.

NV Energy VP Mary Simmons, Shelby Bietz, and Solar Generations Program Manager John Hargrove place the final panel.
