We just received this gorgeous photo of our installation at the University of Nevada Reno Student Union building. Putting solar arrays on roofs is the best way to ensure they get the most sun possible, but it also means it can be very difficult to see the whole project in situ.

Here’s some great news for your Monday: thanks to the support of literally hundreds of donors, we raised almost all the money we needed to build not one, but two solar arrays for the Lovelock Elementary School in Lovelock, Nevada, at no cost to them.

A belate, but very heartfelt, thank you to the incredibly generous Reno/Tahoe community, which turned out for our SOLARstice fundraiser for the Lovelock School on June 21st. We’ve been incredibly busy for the last week and just didn’t get around to posting the photos and results.
Thanks to everyone who participated ( and there were so many: Great Basin Brewing, the City of Reno, Controlled Burn, West Street Market, the folks from NV Energy, Polly Ester’s, Kate Cotter, Tyler Stafford, Leroy Viril…the list goes on ) more than 100 people turned out and we raised more than $1,500 for our project for the Lovelock Elementary School.
