Reno’s Salvation Army is a large and active presence providing services to people in need throughout Washoe County, Nevada. In 2016-17, Black Rock Solar built three arrays totaling 239 kilowatts to help the Salvation Army operate more efficiently and save money that can be returned to the community.
This 43-kilowatt roof-mounted array provides solar power to the Salvation Army’s Reno offices.
