Western Nevada College

Carson City, Nevada

“This collaboration offers many benefits to the college. Economically, it makes sense for today and for the future.  It allows the college to lower energy costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while decreasing our demand for energy from the grid.”

Dan Neverett, Vice President, Finance & Administrative Services

In July 2012, we returned to Western Nevada College’s Carson City campus, to install a 100 kilowatt ground-mount array powering the Reynolds building. This joins the 201 kW array we built in 2011, helping WNC stay ahead of the curve as one of the biggest consumers of renewable, environmentally friendly solar power in the Nevada higher education system.
