Black Rock Solar has completed four solar arrays in Lovelock, NV, a small town about 90 miles east of Reno, for the city’s water treatment plants and a well. BRS has partnered with Tangent Energy Solutions, a Distributed Energy Resources (DER) provider that also sourced a third party investor for the project. The city and its water district have signed power purchase agreements with Tangent to buy power from the projects for the next 20 years.
The four new arrays add 117 kW to the 206 kW of solar power BRS built for Lovelock in 2013.
