Black Rock Solar installed a 50 kW rooftop array powering the Tech Arts building at Great Basin College’s Elko campus.
This 187-panel array will save the college more than $150,000 over the next 25 years and those savings can be put toward providing educational services for GBC’s 3,800 students.
Great Basin College enriches people’s lives by providing student-centered, post-secondary education to rural Nevada. The main campus in Elko is a comprehensive residential college. Centers are located in Battle Mountain, Ely, Pahrump, and Winnemucca. There are satellite facilities in more than a dozen communities across Northern Nevada.
