Black Rock Solar installed a 101 kW ground-mount array at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Fish Hatchery in Sutcliffe, Nevada, in October 2013. This 385-panel array will save the tribe more than $350,000 over the next 25 years. This is our 12th array for the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe.
The mission of Pyramid Lake Fisheries is to operate and maintain fishery facilities at Pyramid Lake and the lower Truckee River for the purpose of enhancing Cui-ui and Lahontan Cutthroat Trout populations, while creating a balance within natural resources management actions, which reflects the social, cultural, economic, and natural resource values of the Pyramid Lake Paiute people. Pyramid Lake is the ancestral home of the Pyramid Lake Paiute People of the Northern Nevada region.
In March 2013, Black Rock Solar installed a 49.4 kW ground-mounted array at the Capt. Dave Numana Hupa-Agai Fish Hatchery in Nixon, Nevada. It is also part of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe fishery operations.
