Field Trips
VIP passes for students
Black Rock Solar offers field trips for K-12 students to many of our sites, both during construction and on dedication day. These trips let students see the great work being done by our clients while they learn about renewable energy. Students generally tour the facility, led by the Executive Director or President of the organization, and then participate in different activities with Black Rock Solar. Activities often include an information scavenger hunt where students must get the answers to a list of questions, and a staging of our play, “Kilowatts and Climate Change.” All students receive a special Solar VIP Pass to wear during the field trip and to take home as a souvenir.
