Black Rock Solar has created a curriculum component called Solar 101 that teachers can use in the classroom. Students learn about renewable energy, fossil fuels, solar panels, climate change, conservation, and energy efficiency. Solar 101 includes exercises that let students analyze live data from Black Rock Solar’s sites and can be tailored to different grade and age levels. The unit includes a vocabulary list and suggested exercises for continued learning.
