SunPower Corporation, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of renewable energy, announced this weekend the creation of the SunPower Foundation and their partnership with a global network of non-profit partner groups.

Other partners of the SunPower Foundation include Winrock International, Solar
Electric Light Fund, Black Rock Solar, Grid Alternatives, and the American
African Nuru Foundation.In addition to working with these partners to promote
the use of solar power and develop and distribute solar power education tools,
the SunPower Foundation is also partnering with them to provide SunPower
employees opportunities to support community-based solar power initiatives
around the world.

We’re very proud to be among such an impressive list of partner organizations, and in the weeks and months ahead look forward to unveiling several projects we’ll be working with SunPower Foundation on bringing to fruition.
