Sunday concert to benefit Black Rock Solar

The Extradition Music Festival comes to Reno, Nevada, for August 12-15 with its unique brand of alt country music and a benefit night for Black Rock Solar. Sunday night’s show at the beautiful Hawkins Amphitheater features outlaw country legend Billy Joe Shaver with Hellbound Glory and the Bindle Stiffs. Part of the proceeds will go to Black Rock Solar to help with new installation projects, and we’ll be on hand to give out information at the concert.

August 12
The first day of the festival will be marked by the launch of two books, one fiction and non-fiction, on Johnny Cash’s famous lyric about the Biggest Little City, followed by a Honky Tonk Hangover show.

August 13
Don’t miss the southern California-based Americana rockers Dawes and Langhorne Slime with The Donkeys, Buster Blue, and My Flag is on Fire.

COST: $12

August 14
Catch the fast-paced notes of rockabilly and western swing with Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Boys, Leroy Virgil and the Loaded Dice, The Cheatin’ Hearts, and The Cowbelleros.

WHERE: The Alley in Victorian Square, Sparks
COST: $15

August 15
The festival closes with outlaw country legend Billy Joe Shaver, Hellbound Glory, and The Bindle Stiffs.

COST: $35 for reserved seats; $25 for lawn
